Strategic Plan
One of the goals of the project in west
Michigan is to develop a strategic plan for tourism in the area.
Involvement of local community
and tourism industry stakeholders is crucial to the success of the
development and implementation of the plan. For that reason the planning
group of the project has been significantly expanded in summer 2006.
Below are the links to the
files showing the strategic plan process and a progression of the planning
efforts.
A draft strategic plan will be
presented at the Five County Regional Tourism Business Marketing Forum on
November 13, 2006 for a discussion and attendees' input. Those interested in
joining the planning efforts will have an opportunity to do so at the event
or by contacting local project member.
